TrustFire 18650 2400mAh: brief, but thorough.

Unfortunately, I have to disappoint readers: this time there won’t be any discussion of how these batteries are used, though more detailed reviews are planned for the future.
This will just be a test, but one carried out with a professional battery tester. And I liked the batteries themselves, so they’re worth writing about.

They arrived in unusual packaging, at least for me. Previously, they’d always come in plain envelopes, but this time there was a bag with a tag.


Inside, though, everything was as usual: the envelope was simply packed in a bag.
There’s bubble wrap inside, with the batteries in it.


There’s an odd sticker on the batteries themselves. Maybe it means something to someone, but I think it’s just the store’s internal label.


There are no holograms on the packaging, and the batteries themselves are rated at 2400 mAh.


The back has the usual warnings: don’t throw into a fire, don’t overcharge, don’t throw away, don’t eat, and so on.


The batteries have protection circuits. I tested the protection, and it cuts off :)


The batteries are a little longer than expected: 68 mm instead of 65.


The diameter is practically as expected, though I think everyone already knows these specs without my review, since these batteries are quite popular.


The pair weighs 94 grams, so each battery weighs 47 grams.


I weighed the batteries as a pair for a reason. For comparison, a pair of Bailong batteries—the ones often bundled with flashlights at our markets—weighs just 56 grams, or 28 grams each. As they say, feel the difference. I hope you have a rough idea of their capacity.


And now, as promised, the test results.
The test was performed with a professional battery analyzer, the VenconUBA, so I personally have no doubts about the accuracy of the results. And the device’s price kind of says it all :)

In short:
1 — Pass! Capacity=2.209 Ah (92.0% rated)
2 — Pass! Capacity=2.243 Ah (93.5% rated)

In my opinion, that's a very good result: 92–93.5% of the rated capacity. The tests were run at a 1C current, and if you're interested, all the results are above in the spoilers.
