Today I’m reviewing a rather unusual power supply. Though, to be more precise, the power supply itself isn’t so much unusual as relatively rare “around here,” partly because of its price. One of my regular readers sent it to add to my collection, and I’d like to thank him for that.

When I started writing this review, I spent a while wondering whether to classify this device as an SSD or a flash drive. In the end, I decided it was more like an external SSD than a flash drive. You'll find out why in the review, which also includes a look at the device and some testing.

The new product from Rui Deng has finally made its way to me: an adjustable voltage converter for building a bench power supply. I originally planned a more extensive review, but one of the suppliers let me down badly and shipped the power supply much later than I’d hoped, so I had to split the review into two parts: a main part and a follow-up. The follow-up will also answer questions that came up after reading the main part.

The third type of battery sent to me by one of my blog’s regular readers. I’d originally planned a fairly routine review, since what new is there to say about such well-known batteries as the LG HG2?
