As 2021 draws to a close, and following tradition, I decided to publish my annual roundup of battery reviews. This time there are fewer than I expected, but I hope it will still be useful.

I’ve already posted an announcement for this converter model, which is an evolution of the previous 6006P model, differing mainly in its lower output current and power. Several readers have already asked me about this model. Well, it arrived, I took a look, tested it, and formed an opinion.

I recently reviewed the Mean Well EPP-500-54 power supply and mentioned that I had ordered two power supplies. Today I'm reviewing the second one, which was also originally intended for the RD6006 converter.

I’d wanted to buy this power supply for a long time, but one thing or another kept getting in the way. And now, at last, it’s in my hands. I’ll say right away that I like it, although it does have a few minor quirks.
