As I mentioned recently, I needed to build a powerful charger for one of my custom electronic loads. I’ve already shown you the converter, so now it’s time for the power supply. I’ve reviewed a similar SMPS before, which makes this all the more interesting—we’ll compare them.

A quick look at an inexpensive adjustable 60 V, 20 A voltage converter. It’s not exactly great, but I wouldn’t say it’s terrible either. Overall, you get what you pay for.

Na-ion batteries based on a relatively new chemistry (though that depends on how you look at it) have finally made their way to me. I bought them specifically for a review and to satisfy my own curiosity, and now I can share the results of some tests with you. I think you'll find them interesting.
