I once wrote about a mini computer running Windows 8.1. This computer is very similar to it, but also has some notable differences, mostly for the better. But nothing is perfect, and I'll try to explain that in this review. I'll say right away: I'll be taking it apart :)

Some time ago, I came up with the idea of building a simple but useful device. I had everything I needed at home, except for an ammeter-voltmeter, so I ordered one, received it, and started building what I had in mind. More after the jump.

Today I’ll show you what else arrived. I ordered this power supply for a very specific purpose, but I’ll tell you about that at the end. This review will be very similar to the previous one. If you’re interested, read on.

I liked the look of this one right away, but since pictures can be deceiving, I decided to take a closer look and put it to the test. The review includes a description, photos, tests, and an analysis of a small design flaw. Read on after the jump.

While working on one of my long-running projects, which I started late last year, I needed some batteries. I had the idea of adding a backup power source to the device I'm building. So I decided to order these batteries and take a look at what they were like. So, we'll be testing 18650 batteries with a claimed capacity of 2800 mAh. Anyway, more after the jump.
