I can’t even remember when or how this little board came into my possession, but it was clearly a long time ago. It sat around for years until I happened to come across it and decided, just out of curiosity, to figure it out and repair it. Read on to see how that went.

A small package arrived recently with four batteries inside. To be honest, I wasn't expecting it, but the batteries inside were an even bigger surprise.

This is the second product from Baseus sent in for review, and it's a car charger. The idea is interesting, and the specs are great, but "something went wrong," and we'll try to figure out exactly what.

Another product that was sent to me for review some time ago. It arrived at the end of February 2022 and had to be put on the back burner. As for the product itself, it's a three-port "charger" rated at 30 W.

The second power supply I ordered for review, and honestly, it managed to surprise me. Actually, no—the power supply itself wasn’t what surprised me; it’s relatively fine. What surprised me was the sheer audacity, but this is better seen than just read about.

I don't think I'm far off if I say that quite a lot of people have had electronic devices fail because of overvoltage. It happens for various reasons, but the result is almost always the same: the power supply burns out. Just as there are different causes, there are also different ways to deal with the problem, and that's what we'll talk about today.

A decent power bank for your 18650 batteries, although in my opinion it has a few drawbacks.

For quite a long time, the simplest solutions were used to test, for example, a power supply under load—powerful resistors or light bulbs. But with the widespread availability of high-power semiconductor components and the emergence of equally powerful power supplies, it became possible to make the process more convenient by using an electronic load.

This story began around February this year, when two 3D printer boards came in for repair along with a power supply.
