Notes from a Heavy Smoker, or Several E-Liquids for an E-Cigarette + Bonus

As I continued experimenting with e-cigarettes, I decided to order a few different e-liquids to try. I know quite a lot of people make their own, but there are still people like me who usually buy them.
Anyway, let’s get to the review.

To start with, I was already thinking of skipping this review: the e-liquids I ordered back in late August only arrived recently, and I thought they might never show up at all.

Well, they crawled their way to me at a snail’s pace, but they made it.
I decided not to post a photo of the envelope, so I’ll move straight on to the packaging itself.
They were packed pretty thoroughly; they certainly didn’t skimp on the bubble wrap. They were shipped via Singapore Post.


Inside the envelope were four bottles of different e-liquids and a sheet with what I took to be an inspection report. It looked exactly like the one in my previous e-cigarette review.


As I mentioned above, I ordered four bottles of e-liquid to try.
Hangsen — Tobacco, 10ml, 18mg, $ 1.83
Eavisun — Cigar 30ml, 24mg, $ 3.32
Eavisun — States Impact 10ml, 18mg, $ 1.84
Dekang — Cofee, 10ml, 18mg, $ 2.58


I don’t know what you call someone who tastes cigarettes :) but I’ll try to describe what I got.
I vaped each bottle for two days to get used to the flavor.
Below is a description of the products and how they taste.

So, in order.




At the beginning, I mentioned a bonus.
The store sent me an electronic cigarette along with the liquids.
They sent it as a gift, so I didn't get to choose it and ended up with a “pig in a poke.”
I hadn't planned to write about it, but I liked it so much that I decided to share my thoughts on it, too.


All in all, I've been using this cigarette for over a month now (it arrived much earlier than the liquids I ordered with it), and my impressions are entirely positive. It works well and is convenient to use.
At first I thought the metal mouthpiece would be unpleasant, but at home you don't notice it. Using it outdoors in cold weather would definitely be unpleasant.
I recommend it; I like it.
I should also mention that I now smoke half as many regular cigarettes as I used to, and I even feel better.
I could have skipped the liquid with 24 mg of nicotine; I couldn't tell the difference from the 18 mg one. If there's no difference, I might as well try 12 mg—I think that would be less harmful, too.

So, here's my verdict on the liquids.
I liked the coffee-flavored liquid best. It's quite pleasant and usable, but it's also the most expensive.
The tobacco- and cigar-flavored liquids are worth considering too, but they're more of an acquired taste. They're very similar to the liquid from the cigarette in my previous review.
I wouldn't recommend the States Impact liquid at all; the taste is extremely unpleasant.

I don't think my mini-review will be particularly useful, but maybe it'll help someone make the right decision. I'm not sure I did a good job describing the taste of the liquid, but I tried.
The liquids and cigarette were provided to me free of charge by the Chinabay store.

And yes, speaking as someone who's been smoking for years: smoking is harmful to your health.
