Review conclusionRecommendedWith reservations

Only in one review: Current 20 A (S-480-24); Power 500 W (MeanWell EPP-500-54); Ripple 150 mV (MeanWell EPP-500-54); Protection 11.3 A (MeanWell EPP-500-54); Price 22.99 $ (S-480-24).

MeanWell EPP-500-54: The compact PSU showed high efficiency and acceptable ripple, but the transformer gets noticeably hot under heavy load.

S-480-24: It handled full load with decent efficiency, but build and component quality are poor; inspection and rework are advisable.

Figures were taken from the review text and checked against the quoted passages. Measurement conditions differ between reviews, so read the reviews yourself before buying. Prices at the time of review.
