Of course, plenty of people will say, “Why do modern mice need this relic called a mouse pad?” No, a mouse pad is more comfortable. First, it doesn’t glide as easily as it does on a smooth desk, and it also helps define the workspace more clearly.
I added it to another order to save on shipping. I ordered it from Elektronny Mir in Kharkiv with delivery to my address. It turned out to be about as cheap as delivery to a parcel locker or branch.
I placed the order yesterday, and the courier delivered it this afternoon. Branded bag, the whole works...
The pad comes in a cardboard envelope with a branded print. It looks neat.

I just don’t know what kind of genius thought it was a good idea to seal this envelope shut, then stick a couple more round pieces of tape over it. In theory, you’re supposed to cut the circles off and then take out the pad. Yeah, right...

There was even a warranty card inside, though it hadn’t been filled out. I wonder if you can actually get a warranty on a mouse pad?

The pad itself was inside the package, of course: black, neat, and done in a restrained black design, just like my monobank card.

I bought this new pad to replace the old one from the same company. I’d even say it’s the same model, just an earlier revision. After several years of use, I can say it’s comfortable, but time takes its toll. It wasn’t the surface that gave out, but the rubber base, which started to break down. Once, the pad literally stuck to the desk, and I had to clean the desk afterward.
Actually, I have some more interesting mouse pads, you could even call them branded ones. I especially like the one from Mean Well—it looks stylish.

I could have used any of them, really, but I’m more used to a different size. One is smaller, the other noticeably bigger, and the Mean Well pad is as wide as the new one is long.
Yes, the new pad measures 250x200 mm.

Unlike the previous one, this pad is stitched around the edges. The stitching is tight. I wonder if it’ll be possible to update the firmware later?
By the way, both spare pads (I have two small ones) are stitched too, in a similar way.

As for decoration, there are a couple of inscriptions: the brand name and the X7 mouse series name.

Wait, the picture on the website was different—that was partly what caught my eye. They also have an older version of this pad, 30 UAH cheaper, and that one has the same design as the one I received.

I even thought it might be a mistake, but no, they make pads with this design too. The packaging is different as well. If I’d bought it on AliExpress, I’d have opened a dispute for a partial refund, because I specifically wanted the pad with that design.

The underside has a rubber base, just like the old one. We’ll see how long this one lasts, though I doubt it’ll last any longer.
For what it’s worth, it stays put on the desk like it’s glued down.

And there’s my mouse, already settling into its new home :)

While writing the review and picking out photos, I came across this pad on Prom—and the photo even shows a desk just like mine :)

At the moment, both my mouse and keyboard are from A4Tech. The mouse is really old, a SWOP-35 (formerly WOP-35)—this is my third one. I’m used to it, but unfortunately they don’t make them anymore, and I can’t find a suitable replacement.
The keyboard is A4Tech KV-300H. I’d like to say it’s great, wow, but unfortunately it isn’t. It’s decent, yes, but nothing more.

I used Logitech keyboards for many years, especially the UltraX Premium. I have two of them, but both are worn out now. Here, yes, the keyboard is just great. Though keyboards are a very personal thing: I'm used to quiet keyboards with very little key travel and a scissor-switch mechanism.

Not long ago, an alternative was suggested, also from Logitech. It's positioned as a high-quality option, but the keys are packed a little too tightly together, and then there's the price... not exactly appealing. I was about to treat myself, but my inner cheapskate won out :(

That's pretty much the whole review. I like the mouse pad, the mouse is happy, and so am I. Recommended.
That's all from me today. Hope this was useful :)
