Osram vs. Gauss, or how I looked for a halogen replacement — updated a year later: it’s all bad
I was getting tired of replacing the capsule halogen bulbs in my desk lamp. I’d tried both name-brand and no-name ones, and the main difference was brightness. The lamp had also been on for 10–12 hours a day lately, so I decided to save some money and switch to something more modern—and see what was available on the market.
