LiitoKala Lii-50A battery life test: 200 cycles
About a month and a half ago, I decided to run a life test on a fairly well-known battery. I thought it might be useful.
As a reminder, to stay up to date with new posts on the blog, I recommend following me on Instagram, where I'll post notifications about every new article and maybe write about something interesting now and then — link to my account
I wasn't even planning to post the test results anymore. There's a war going on, my spirits are at rock bottom, and I don't feel like writing anything at all. I've also had a bit of a reassessment of my priorities. But then I thought, why not post them? Maybe it'll motivate someone to see that life hasn't stopped; it keeps moving forward, even with gunfire all around. Besides, the test is finished and the data is collected. All that's left is to put it together. I have no idea when the next review will be.
The test started around the end of January and finished on March 2. I didn't continue after that because I didn't see the point.
This is the LiitoKala Lii-50A battery, which I reviewed in January.

The initial capacity measurement from that review

I ran 200 cycles, each taking about 4 hours, for a total test time of around 800 hours. Some screenshots are incomplete, and I never got around to installing a UPS.
Test cycle:
charge at 0.5C
10-minute rest
discharge at 1C
10-minute rest

The battery started at 5052 mAh and 17.54 Wh, and finished at 4516 mAh and 15.01 Wh.

The same graph, but showing capacity in mAh and mWh at the same time

The battery's impedance as shown in the review: before testing, after conditioning, and at the end.

And after 200 cycles

And finally, the last charging cycle. You can also see the date here.

Well, all the information is in the article. I don't have much else to add, so I'll wrap up here, because it looks like the pause is over and the shooting has started again.
Take care, friends. Don't lose heart, and keep supporting one another.
