Lithium Werks (formerly A123 Systems) ANR26650M1-B 2500mAh batteries: as good as it gets?
I finally got my hands on the well-known ANR26650M1-B batteries from Lithium Werks (formerly A123). They’re considered among the highest-quality cells, and they can also handle a very high maximum load current.
JGNE 26650 LiFePO4 Batteries with 2300, 3000 and 3600 mAh Capacities
Continuing my look at JGNE batteries, this time I’m testing three larger LiFePO4 models with capacities of 2300, 3000 and 3600 mAh. They differ not only in capacity, but also in maximum discharge current.
A pair of JGNE18650 LiFePO4 batteries, 1600 and 1800 mAh
I was asked about LiFePO4 battery reviews not long ago, and recently I received a package containing both 18650 and 26650 cells. They differ not only in size, but also in their specifications, capacity, and maximum current. Since there are quite a few batteries, I decided to split them into three groups. Today, I’m reviewing the smallest ones.

VapCell IFR32700 6500mAh 30A G65 batteries: large, high-capacity, high-current
26-04-2020, 13:36
I think you’re already familiar with these batteries from my two previous reviews, where I showed the Litokala and Varicor versions. Today, it’s VapCell’s turn.
VapCell IFR26650 2600mAh 3.2V 55A/75A batteries
25-04-2020, 22:27
LiFePO4 batteries with the highest maximum discharge current featured in my reviews so far: 55A. Unfortunately, I could only test them at 40A because of the limitations of my equipment.

24-04-2020, 14:11
This is the first time I’ve come across a combination of 5.3Ah capacity and a maximum current of 20A, but the batteries passed all the tests without any problems. More in the review.
VapCell G45 21700 4500mAh 20A Batteries
24-04-2020, 13:24
Batteries in the actively promoted 21700 form factor, designed for a continuous discharge current of 20 A and rated at 4500 mAh.
VapCell INR18500 2200mAh 4A L22 batteries
24-04-2020, 03:00
This battery size isn't very common, but as I happened to find out, it's used as a replacement for packs of three AA batteries.

VapCell M11 18350 1100mAh 9A batteries
23-04-2020, 13:34
Batteries in the relatively uncommon 18350 form factor, but with a decent discharge current.
VapCell INR14500 1000mAh 10A H10: Small but Powerful

A relatively short series of reviews of VapCell batteries, featuring some interesting models in my opinion.
Mean Well PSC-160A-C: fixing shortcomings, modifications, and an addendum to the review
11-04-2020, 03:15
Just recently, I posted a review of a power supply with a UPS function, and criticized it. Some of that criticism was justified, and some wasn’t. Today I want to talk about that, and also explain how to modify this power supply to get what I consider a better balance between the charging current and the main output current.
Electronic load and battery tester: ZKEtech EBC-A40L
10-04-2020, 13:45
About a year ago, in one of my reviews of ZKEtech electronic loads, I wrote that I wanted to pick up a couple more. Recently, I bought and received one of them—the model with the highest current rating in the company's lineup. A look around, a few tests, and of course, my conclusions.
Mean Well PSC-160A-C, 160 W power supply with UPS function
1-04-2020, 16:47
Today I'm reviewing a rather unusual power supply. What sets it apart from the ones I've reviewed before is its uninterruptible power supply function.
Choetech Q6006 power supply (charger) with 61 W PD support and GaN technology
27-03-2020, 12:04
You’ve probably heard of GaN technology by now, even if you’re not particularly interested in the world of modern power supply design. But this is the first time I’ve had a power supply like this, and today I’ll try comparing it with an almost identical model from the same company. Inspection, tests, comparison, measurements—as usual.
Several discounts on Choetech chargers. More discounts added

They sent over a coupon for three Choetech products, and I thought it might be useful.
Adjustable XYS3580 SEPIC Converter
26-03-2020, 11:39
I’ve finally gotten around to the XYS3580 converter, which has been written about more than once. So why not take a look? It has a universal input and delivers up to 80 W. As it turns out, though, it has plenty of “quirks” that I want to tell you about today. A look inside, tests, oscilloscope traces, and a modest attempt at putting it to use.
