This is the third power supply from SANMIM and, in my personal opinion, the most interesting of the three. It also looks very much like another power supply model that I think many of my readers will recognize. But you can read all about it in the review.

My second power supply from SANMIM, this time a model from the low-profile series—that is, a “flat” 20 W unit with a 12 V output.

It's been a while since I reviewed a power supply, so I decided to make up for that by buying a few different compact units. As usual, this review will cover the inspection, tests, and conclusions.

For some reason, there are very few reviews of power supplies like this. That’s understandable: buyers are usually more interested in high-power models than in little units rated at just 3 W. Today I'm reviewing another power supply made by Mean Well. This time, it's a model designed for mounting on a DIN rail. I've already reviewed a similar power supply, but that one was intended for industrial use. This time, I'll show you a more "home-friendly" version. Inspection, schematic, tests—as always.

So, today I have the second review in a series of reviews of power supplies made by Mean Well. This time I chose an open-frame power supply, i.e. a board without an enclosure. As with the last one, it has its own little “twist,” but you can read all about it in the review, which, as usual, includes tests, oscilloscope traces, and conclusions. All in all, I think anyone interested in good power supplies won’t be disappointed.
