Not long ago, I posted about a sale at the Choetech store featuring a compact power supply with a USB output and QC3.0 support. The price was attractive, so I ordered one for myself. Today I want to tell you about this charger.

This review falls into the spontaneous category: I ordered the product without really planning to write about it. But I genuinely liked these batteries, so I ended up putting together a full review with tests. The information may well be useful to someone, since finding decent 14500 batteries on AliExpress turned out to be surprisingly difficult.

The last battery in this roundup from Basen, and this time it’s a model in the increasingly popular 21700 form factor. To some extent, this battery size is replacing the long-established 18650 cells, which have become, you could say, the “standard” for lithium batteries. Inspection, tests, conclusions, and a “strange oddity.”

Banggood is running a sale on a range of products. There are plenty of items on offer, but I decided to pick out only those that seem interesting or particularly good value to me. If you're unsure, it's best to double-check.

I needed full-extension slides for one of my projects. They’re used all the time in ordinary furniture, and of course I would have just gone out and bought some at a store, especially since they cost around 2–5 dollars there. But there was a problem: I needed stainless steel slides. More on that in the review.

Another pair of Basen batteries, but unlike the more familiar 18650 form factor, these are larger, in the 26650 size, and naturally have a higher capacity: 4.5 Ah. Inspection, tests, conclusions.

Another Mean Well for my collection, but today this isn't just a power supply review—it's a review of a used power supply. In my opinion, that's much more interesting and, most importantly, more useful than a review of a new one.

This is my third review of Basen batteries, and today I'm looking at a fairly unremarkable model with a capacity of 2500 mAh. Still, I hope you'll find the information useful.

Another pair of batteries from Basen, and this time they're a higher-current version with a capacity of 3000 mAh and a claimed continuous discharge current of up to 20 A. And, as always, a look at them, tests, comparisons, and conclusions.

Apparently, after reading some of my battery reviews, one store decided to send me some of its batteries to test. I was curious to see what they were like, so I agreed and got back to testing. Inspection, tests, graphs, comparisons and conclusions—as usual.

Some discounts popped up at the Choetech store today. At first, I mistakenly thought they were products for review, but then I realized they were just discounts. I even considered buying something—the prices are pretty good, at least in my opinion—so I decided to share them with you.

One of the readers asked me to review this converter, but somehow all my previous orders turned out to be duds. Finally, I bought this little board and tested it :) As always, the review includes a look at the board, tests, and conclusions.

Almost immediately after ordering the RD6006 converter, I started looking for a power supply to go with it. But as it turned out, I had to wait a very long time for my order, so the follow-up to the review was delayed considerably. But as they say, better late than never.

With Intel releasing newer and newer processor models, I was a little surprised to find that mini PCs are still being made with older chips, such as the X5-Z8500. But since I’ve reviewed quite a few computers based on Atom processors, I decided to take a look and see whether anything had changed since my previous review.

The new product from Rui Deng has finally made its way to me: an adjustable voltage converter for building a bench power supply. I originally planned a more extensive review, but one of the suppliers let me down badly and shipped the power supply much later than I’d hoped, so I had to split the review into two parts: a main part and a follow-up. The follow-up will also answer questions that came up after reading the main part.

I came across a couple of coupons for new users and thought they might be useful.

Although there’s very little time left before the sale ends, I got an email from RDtech—or RuiDeng, whichever you prefer—today. It included links to discounted products, so I decided to share them almost as soon as I got the email.
