At last, I’ve got my hands on a PD power supply that can deliver up to 100 W from a single output. As usual, I’ll take a look, test it, and of course, take it apart.

The RD official store has a new product: the adjustable RD6012 voltage converter. I thought this might be useful.

A few times, I reviewed chargers for lithium batteries. They were designed for 3S packs, but the bigger issue was that their circuitry was far too simplified. After that, I was asked repeatedly which charger to buy that would be safer for the batteries and wouldn't need any "modifications"—even if it cost more. So I ordered a charger that supposedly belongs to the more proper type. As always, I'll go into more detail in the review.

At the end of February, I reviewed the PEF-301 phase selector relay. As I wrote then, I’ve been using these relays for a long time and am completely happy with how they work. But now a newer version, the PEF-320, has landed on my desk. The key difference is that it can’t control external contactors. More details, as always, in the review.

I finally got my hands on the well-known ANR26650M1-B batteries from Lithium Werks (formerly A123). They’re considered among the highest-quality cells, and they can also handle a very high maximum load current.

Continuing my look at JGNE batteries, this time I’m testing three larger LiFePO4 models with capacities of 2300, 3000 and 3600 mAh. They differ not only in capacity, but also in maximum discharge current.

I was asked about LiFePO4 battery reviews not long ago, and recently I received a package containing both 18650 and 26650 cells. They differ not only in size, but also in their specifications, capacity, and maximum current. Since there are quite a few batteries, I decided to split them into three groups. Today, I’m reviewing the smallest ones.

I think you’re already familiar with these batteries from my two previous reviews, where I showed the Litokala and Varicor versions. Today, it’s VapCell’s turn.

LiFePO4 batteries with the highest maximum discharge current featured in my reviews so far: 55A. Unfortunately, I could only test them at 40A because of the limitations of my equipment.

This is the first time I’ve come across a combination of 5.3Ah capacity and a maximum current of 20A, but the batteries passed all the tests without any problems. More in the review.

This battery size isn't very common, but as I happened to find out, it's used as a replacement for packs of three AA batteries.

Just recently, I posted a review of a power supply with a UPS function, and criticized it. Some of that criticism was justified, and some wasn’t. Today I want to talk about that, and also explain how to modify this power supply to get what I consider a better balance between the charging current and the main output current.
