Information about a new model of adjustable converter, the RD6018 from RuiDeng, has appeared online. I did a brief comparison and decided to share what I found.

In the spring, I ran a capacity test on a pair of batteries and mentioned that they had arrived along with three LG HG2 cells. I finally found the time to post a short review of those three batteries.

I’ve reviewed an LRS-series power supply before, but it was a higher-power model with active cooling. This time, I got my hands on its little “brother,” so today I’ll introduce it to you. Inspection, tests, conclusions—as usual.

I decided to get an inexpensive switch for home use—mainly for configuring various PoE Ethernet devices—and figured I’d take the opportunity to see what PowerLink’s budget PoE switch is like.

Another Friday (or maybe Saturday) roundup of interesting products I came across on AliExpress.

No, friends, this isn't actually a coupon or a sale. I was just browsing AliExpress and happened to stumble across a model of adjustable converter I hadn't seen before.

When I ordered a multichannel battery tester, I also picked up ten thermal switches from the same store, ZKEtech. I needed them to control the cooling fans in high-power electronic loads and power supplies. I meant to review them right away, but then forgot about it, so today I decided to make up for that oversight.

Since I occasionally test camera batteries, when I saw these special alligator clips for connecting to them on Taobao, I decided to buy a couple for myself. But as it turned out, it wasn't that simple.

While putting together one of my Taobao orders, I came across some interesting converter boards. After reading the customer reviews, I decided to pick up a few for myself. Since someone else might come across them too, I thought I’d put together a short review.

In today's installment of my VapCell battery review, there won't be a variety of form factors: the whole review is devoted to one size, probably the most popular one, 18650. Even so, I think it'll still be useful.

I needed a powerful step-down voltage converter for one of my projects, so I decided to give it a quick test before putting it to use. A quick look, some tests, and my conclusions.

Today I'm writing about how a friend of mine ordered batteries for Makita on AliExpress, and how it all turned out.

I was recently looking for something on AliExpress, but got a bit carried away and started browsing all sorts of interesting products. Here are a few I’d like to show you today—maybe you’ll find them useful.

I came across an interesting soldering iron—or, more precisely, one model available in two versions.

This is another installment in my series of reviews of Vapcell products, but this time they’re not just batteries—they have built-in chargers. That’s partly why I gave them a separate review, so they wouldn’t get mixed up with the others.

Three and a half years ago, I reviewed the Teclast Tbook 10S tablet. I really liked it, and it saw fairly heavy use for almost the entire time since I wrote the review. But after about two and a half years, its battery started to give out, and by the three-year mark, it was basically running only on mains power, so I decided to replace it with a new one.

In the spring, I published two reviews of Vapcell batteries, both conventional lithium-ion and LiFePO4. Now I’ve got another batch of cells with this company’s logo. To avoid overwhelming readers with too many reviews, I split the batteries into several groups. Today I’m reviewing the first group.

It's been quite a while since I last posted a product roundup, so today I decided to make up for it. There won't be too many products, but I've tried to pick out ones that might be interesting, including some I've bought myself. That doesn't mean you can't share links to products you think might be interesting, too.
