I think it's perfectly fair to call this post an advertisement. Yes, I decided to become, so to speak, a dealer (or representative) for one of the Ukrainian companies. Though the reality is a little more complicated, but that's beside the point. Anyway, I've added some useful, high-quality devices to my OLX page.

A couple of months ago, one of my readers sent me a RuiDeng power supply to test. Well, it’s sold under that brand, although as far as I understand, it has nothing to do with the company itself. He sent it to me because he’d seen my review of the same power supply, bought from the same store, but it turns out quite a few changes have been made since then.

Recently I announced a new product from RuiDeng: the RD6030 converter, with an output current of up to 30 A. It’s definitely an interesting new model, so I ordered one right away. Today I’m ready to take a closer look at it.

I've already explained how to turn an ordinary power supply into a charger, but for a long time I couldn't shake the thought that a charger should work more properly. Then I came up with the idea of making one that was not only proper and simple, but also based on the adapter board I'd already shown.

Given the current situation—or, more precisely, the lack of "power"—charging batteries has become a serious problem, preferably with fast charging. On top of that, I got the idea of building a small UPS for the refrigerator, which also needs a charger. I bought several LRS-350-12 power supplies for this whole project, but as you can imagine, things aren't quite as simple as I'd hoped :)

Some time ago, my new 230 Ah CALB batteries finally arrived. They were sent directly by the manufacturer, so I tested them as best I could, and today I’ll show you what they’re like.

Quite unexpectedly, RuiDeng has released a new converter model. I really wasn’t expecting this from them after the RD6024 came out. Here’s a quick look at what they’re offering.

AliExpress is having a sale right now, and I spotted a good price on the DL24MP load. People often ask me about it, but I haven't reviewed it yet, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone: share the good price, give it a quick review, and compare it with the DL24EW along the way.

A new drill driver has shown up at my place—or rather, not exactly new, more like not very old. And it didn’t just show up; I brought it home myself. Anyway, I decided to buy an extra battery for it, and today I’ll tell you how that turned out.

Of course, cables like these are often better and cheaper to make yourself, but in this case I just couldn't resist the sale prices and ordered two sets right away :) In any case, I think the information will be useful.

While testing various electronic loads, I ran into a problem: I needed a high-power adjustable power supply—well, relatively high-power, of course :) I already have an adjustable supply based on an RD6024 converter, and everything would be fine, except it had only an 800 W power supply, while I needed at least 1200 W. So, during the November sale, I picked up a 1500 W unit for an upgrade.

Another saga of choosing and buying a fan for my new adjustable power supply based on the RD6012P. I think it will be useful and interesting.

I haven’t been posting much lately, and someone even asked if everything was okay with me. Unfortunately, I’ve had a lot on my plate, and I’d like to tell you about some of it today, since it turned out to be relevant to buyers and interesting to me.

I was sent this interesting little device. Well, calling it a device might be a bit generous; for the most part, it’s probably more of a display gadget. But it all depends on what you need it for, and for some tasks—especially the kind beginners in amateur radio tend to have—it’s perfectly adequate.

Another power supply, and Sanmim again—but this time it’s a 50 W model, somewhat similar to the Meanwell LRS-50-12, which I reviewed just recently. In short, it’s a very interesting power supply.
