Given the current situation—or, more precisely, the lack of "power"—charging batteries has become a serious problem, preferably with fast charging. On top of that, I got the idea of building a small UPS for the refrigerator, which also needs a charger. I bought several LRS-350-12 power supplies for this whole project, but as you can imagine, things aren't quite as simple as I'd hoped :)

Some time ago, my new 230 Ah CALB batteries finally arrived. They were sent directly by the manufacturer, so I tested them as best I could, and today I’ll show you what they’re like.

While testing various electronic loads, I ran into a problem: I needed a high-power adjustable power supply—well, relatively high-power, of course :) I already have an adjustable supply based on an RD6024 converter, and everything would be fine, except it had only an 800 W power supply, while I needed at least 1200 W. So, during the November sale, I picked up a 1500 W unit for an upgrade.

Another saga of choosing and buying a fan for my new adjustable power supply based on the RD6012P. I think it will be useful and interesting.

I was sent this interesting little device. Well, calling it a device might be a bit generous; for the most part, it’s probably more of a display gadget. But it all depends on what you need it for, and for some tasks—especially the kind beginners in amateur radio tend to have—it’s perfectly adequate.

Another power supply, and Sanmim again—but this time it’s a 50 W model, somewhat similar to the Meanwell LRS-50-12, which I reviewed just recently. In short, it’s a very interesting power supply.

More batteries sent to me by a blog reader. This time, though, we're looking at the very common 32700 form factor. I've had batteries of this size before, with various capacities, so I'll not only show you the new ones but also compare them with the previous ones.

Another power supply I bought at the Kharkiv Cosmodrome. It's been sitting around for a long time; somehow I never got around to showing it. But now I've finally caught up a bit with the day-to-day stuff and tested it.

These are the third batteries I've received from a reader, and this time they're from the relatively well-known BAK. Sure, they're not Samsung or Murata, but BAK is still a recognizable name.

The second set of batteries from a group shipment sent by one of my readers. This time they’re some no-name (at least to me) Gotion/Guoxuan cells, but as it turns out, they’re actually quite interesting.

Another compact power supply from a fairly well-known manufacturer, this time rated at 12 W. The short version: I was impressed.
